Who's heard of the new reality show, 'Hockey Wives' coming in March to the W Network?! It's a brand new show which showcases and follows around the spouses of various NHL Stars. 'Hockey Wives' is basically a combination of Real Housewives and Hockey Night in Canada... which makes us wonder, how did this not happen sooner??! And, do we really have to wait until March to see it??! This 8-part show follows around the wives / girlfriends of 10 NHL players, including: Brandon Prust, Dustin Brown, Jason LaBarbera, and Jonathan Bernier.
A statement says the show features the glamorous lives of NHL’s wives and girlfriends (a.k.a. WAGs) and how "the many challenges and crises all relationships face are amplified when lives are lived on the front page of the sports section."
If we weren't excited enough, we are VERY proud to announce that both Shawn Cable, the Founder & Director of Re-Matt, and our beautiful Re-Matt warehouse, have a cameo in 'Hockey Wives.' Jason LaBarbera, one of Shawn's childhood friends and his wife, Kodette, take a tour of the Re-Matt facility and learn a bit about Mattress Recycling. See, who said recycling mattresses wasn't sexy?!
Shawn takes his friends and their young kids around our warehouse where they check out our many mattresses, pre and post recycled. He shows off the materials which come out of these mattresses, and he explains our mattress recycling process from beginning to end. We always knew Shawn was an amazing professional athlete but now he's going to be a TV-Star as well! Can't wait to see you on the big screen Boss!!
